El año anterior la clasificatoria de la costa fue en la ciudad de Valledupar. Este año nos las pusieron difícil porque solo un equipo representara a la costa caribe, es decir, que Córdoba, tendrá que medirse aproximadamente contra ocho equipos entre los cuales podemos citar a: Bolívar, Sucre, San Andrés, Atlántico, Magdalena, que por lo general forman parte del torneo.

Este torneo es netamente privado, lo realizamos con la ayuda de los padres de familia y estamos tocando puertas en el comercio, ya que no contamos con el ente administrativo de planeta rica, por aquello de la ley de garantía, que por motivos de proselitismo político están prohibidas las intervenciones económicas para cualquier tipo de evento deportivo, sin embargo el señor alcalde y el Instituto (INDER). Se comprometió darnos su apoyo desde el mes de junio en adelante.
